The cab driver and the passenger of the white SUV got into a fist fight in the middle of E. 35th Street on Thursday.

A cab driver was arrested after a wild road rage incident in Midtown on Thursday in which she allegedly rammed a car with a baby in the backseat.
Police tell Gothamist that the incident took place on E. 35th Street between 7th Avenue and Broadway just before 4 p.m. on Thursday, and involved yellow cab driver Jenna Mallett, 25, a male driver of a white SUV (whose name has not been released), and a female SUV passenger. Both drivers got out of their vehicles, and the female passenger of the SUV got out as well to film the interaction.
The three of them got into a fight in the street, with bystanders intervening to separate them. The female passenger says that Mallett punched her in the face and pulled her hair during the tussle, and according to the NY Post, Mallett was "punching, scratching and biting" the male driver. Part of the incident was caught on video.

Everyone got back into their vehicles, at which point police say that Mallett hit a couple of parked cars, and then rammed into the SUV, whose driver was apparently trying to stop her from leaving the scene while waiting for cops to arrive. There were two children in the back of the SUV, including a two-week-old baby who was taken to a local hospital, but was discharged with no injuries.
You can see the taxi ram the side of the SUV in the video below.

Mallett was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and assault. She was hit with two more charges today after police inspected her vehicle and found marijuana and armor-piercing ammunition; she was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. A spokesperson for the TLC told the Post that "Mallett’s license was suspended pending the outcome of the case."
The couple in the SUV have not been charged in the incident. Although the video above identifies the SUV as an Uber, cops had no information available about that.
