Two People Hit By Train At Broadway Junction: FDNY

One person was killed and another person was hospitalized on Thursday after a train struck them at Broadway Junction, according to the FDNY.

One person was killed and another person was hospitalized on Thursday after a train struck them at Broadway Junction in Brooklyn, according to the FDNY.
The incident happened at around 4:45 p.m., near Fulton Street and Van Sinderen Avenue, the spokesperson said. Emergency responders transported the surviving victim to Brookdale Hospital. Their condition is unknown.
The NYPD only had details about one person who allegedly "jumped in front of a train."
As of 6:00 p.m., all trains are still bypassing Broadway Junction in both directions. Northbound C trains are running express from Euclid Avenue to Hoyt-Schermerhorn streets.
There are delays and service changes on the A and C lines in Brooklyn. Northbound C trains are running express from Euclid Av to Hoyt-Schermerhorn because of a person struck by a train at Broadway Junction. At this time, trains are bypassing Broadway Junction in both directions.
