Subway delays have become an unfortunately normal, unceasingly dumb part of New Yorkers' routines, to the point that we've all become pretty numb to having to plan around frequent delays in service. But every once in awhile, there is such chaos and confusion across the system, you have to step back and admire the sheer audacity of this incoherence. And so it went for many commuters this morning.
Hi @MTA last night I was on an A train stalled under the river for 90 mins (eventually we all had to walk to the front car to hop onto the high st platform) and now I’ve spent 50 mins on a C train that became an F train and is now a D train.

I'm stuck on an A train stopped at 103 for 10 minutes now. The conductor just came on and said "we are experiencing severe congestion due to a power failure in lower Manhattan. Once we get to 59th street we'll have an update. We'll either get rerouted or turn around and go back"

Well, the A/C was delayed, then when an A train arrived I couldn’t board due to a full on brawl which included a woman’s wig being pulled off. Now due to an electrical issue, this A train is an F. I feel like Moses in the desert today.

According to the MTA, there were delays on...you know what? I don't even quite understand this one. There were signal problems on the A/C/E lines, but also on the D lines, and also the F and B lines were affected? Those are all letters in the alphabet, that I know for sure, so maybe we should all cling to what we know and just ride this one out. I mean, not that these trains are exactly "rideable" right now, but you catch my drift.

I was just stuck underground for 45 minutes on the @NYCTSubway C train between Canal and Chambers. The train was evacuated, and the train ahead had no idea it was moving or not. So I decided to take a @lyft, and the first driver decides to cancel on me.
