NYPD: Woman Made 'Anti-Hispanic' Remarks, Threw Chair At Person In McDonald's

Police are investigating an assault perpetrated by a woman who allegedly made "anti-Hispanic" remarks before attacking a man in a Manhattan McDonald's last week.

The incident occurred at the Chinatown McDonald's, on Canal Street, around 10:25 a.m. on March 25th. According to the NYPD, a 33-year-old man was sitting inside the restaurant when a woman began making the anti-Hispanic remarks before she "picked up a chair and struck the victim on the face with the chair."

Police say the woman fled the location and "attempted to flee into the Canal Street train station but was unable to get past the turnstile." The victim was treated for a contusion to his face at New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.

The woman investigators are searching for used expletives and mentioned "Mexican" and "immigrant," a police spokesperson told us.

The suspect is described as being about 35-45 years-old, 5'2" and 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a tan jacket, black pants and black and white sneakers.
