NYPD: Man Bit Off Bouncer's Finger Because Bar Was Closed

Luckily the bouncer's finger was reattached.
A bouncer at a Queens bar was attacked by an apparently irate man who bit off his finger last month, police say.
The incident unfolded outside the El California Sports Bar on Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights on February 16th. According to police, the 37-year-old bouncer was closing the bar's doors shortly after 4 a.m. when a man walked up and demanded entry. The bouncer explained the bar was closed, which prompted the man to start arguing and allegedly bite off part of the bouncer's pinky finger.
The suspect fled and EMS took the bouncer to Bellevue Hospital, where the finger was reattached.
Police released security camera footage of the suspect today. He is described as having a medium build, dark close cut hair and a goatee and was last seen wearing blue jeans, black boots and a black jacket with Japanese iconography inscribed throughout.
