A man was shot on the platform of a Queens subway station this morning.

An NYPD spokesperson told Gothamist that the incident happened just before noon inside the 75th Avenue station on Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills. They say one man was shot on the F train platform, and taken to Elmhurst Hospital. He is currently in stable condition and expected to survive, according to the spokesperson.

Sources told ABC that two suspects fled the scene after the shooting, something which some witnesses also tweeted about (see below). Cops add that no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

The MTA adds that F trains are bypassing 75 Ave. in both directions while NYPD conduct their investigation, and that commuters should expect delays in E and F train service.
