Chinese Food Delivery Workers Targeted In Four Violent Robberies

The delivery workers have been assaulted and robbed of their cash and phones.
Delivery workers for Chinese food restaurants have been assaulted and robbed in four separate incidents this month, and now police have released images of the suspects in hopes the public can help identify them.

The first three incidents took place in the Bronx, and the most recent was in Manhattan. Here are the NYPD's descriptions of the robberies; an NYPD spokesperson confirmed that victims were working for Chinese restaurants:
Incident #1 (52 Pct.): It was reported to police that on Tuesday August 7, 2018, an unknown individual placed a food delivery order from an area restaurant and requested that it be delivered to 2770 Briggs Avenue. When the 39-year-old deliveryman arrived at the location, at approximately 2025 hours, he was assaulted by 3 individuals who removed his wallet, which contained $200 in cash, and the food. The individuals fled the location on foot southbound on Briggs Avenue. The victim suffered a laceration to his mouth and bruising to his face and head; he was treated at the scene by EMS.
Incident #2 (52 Pct.) It was reported to police that on Saturday August 11, 2018, an unknown individual placed a food delivery order from an area restaurant and requested that it be delivered 275 East Gun Hill Road. When the 28-year-old deliveryman arrived at the location, at approximately 2320 hours, the two individuals approached him from behind and threw him down to the ground. One of the men displayed a knife and demanded the victim's property. The victim complied and gave them his cell phone and $100 in cash. The individuals fled the location in an unknown direction.
Incident #3 (52 Pct.) It was reported to police that on Sunday August 12, 2018, an unknown individual placed a food delivery order from an area restaurant and requested that it be delivered 2546 Grand Avenue. When the 32-year-old deliveryman arrived at the location, at approximately 2220 hours, the two individuals approached him from behind and punched him repeatedly. The individuals removed the victim's cell phone and $80 in cash. The individuals fled the location on foot eastbound on West 192 Street. The victim was removed to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Incident #4 (34 Pct.) It was reported to police that on Friday August 17, 2018, an unknown individual placed a food delivery order from an area restaurant and requested that it be delivered 561 West 189 Street. When the 45-year-old deliveryman arrived at the location, at approximately 0014 hours, the three individuals dragged the victim inside the building where they assaulted and removed his cell phone, $20 in cash and the food. The individuals fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was treated at the scene by EMS for minor injuries.

The suspects are described as being 16-19 years old. Based on footage from the August 17th incident, one was wearing a black cap, a black shirt around his neck, light-colored pants, and black sneakers; a second suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, a white shirt wrapped around his head, a white tank top, gray sweatpants and black sneakers; and the third suspect was wearing a black baseball shirt, black sweatpants and black and white sneakers.
