Bus Rider Punched By Man Shouting Made Anti-White, Anti-Gay Statements, Police Say

A man riding an MTA bus in downtown Brooklyn was attacked by another rider shouting hateful statements, police said.

The incident took place around 9:55 a.m. on July 30th, on a B25 bus traveling along Fulton Street. According to the NYPD, a 29-year-old man was attacked by a man who "struck the [him] in the face with a closed fist and made an anti-white remark." The assailant got off the bus at Fulton Street and Bond Street and fled on foot, heading southbound on Bond Street.

An NYPD spokesperson said the suspect's statements were along the lines of "I hate all you white motherf---ers," "You're a f-----" and "I hate everyone like you, white bitch homo."

The victim suffered swelling and pain to the face.

The suspect was described as being about 5'10" and 180-200 pounds, with an earring in his left ear. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a black baseball hat, a black sweatshirt, and black pants. Police released video of the suspect on Bond Street.
