Earlier this month Kate McKinnon and some Saturday Night Live wizards were tasked with transforming the actress from Jeff Sessions into Shud the mermaid. And though McKinnon's chameleon-like comedic skills certainly helped with the quick changeover, a chunk of the magic came from her team of makeup artists, who got her from blobby-shaped Attorney General to blobby-shaped sea creature during just one commercial break (that's around 4 minutes).
