During Bike the Branches, every branch will welcome you, and give you a place to gather, recharge and enjoy the diversity and strength of our beloved borough.
Riders who visit the most branches can win amazing prizes, like a Brompton NYC Edition bike and bag! Plus both riders AND attendees can take part in hundreds of fun, FREE homecoming events such as story time, scavenger hunts, musical performances and more.
The full list of tours and homecoming events is available online. Here are some of our favorites:
- Block Party @ Central Library (Grand Army Plaza) — awards, live music, Smorgasburg food vendors, Sixpoint brewery beer garden and free activities for all ages
- Brompton Guided Branch Tour — borrow a Brompton bike, or take your own bike, and go on a guided ride through Brooklyn’s brownstone neighborhoods (at no additional charge!)
- Prospect Park Family Bike Tour — a perennial favorite, held in partnership with Prospect Park Alliance
